Yuki NAMBU
Yuki Nambu was born in Shizuoka, Japan in 1987. She began to play the piano at the age of three. She studied at the Toho Music High School in Tokyo, and entered the Toho Music College, where she studied piano, accompaniment, and chamber music under Mayo Yoshimura, Toshimitsu Kimura, Keiko Harada, and Kazuoki Fujii. In 2010, she entered the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna, in the class of Prof. Avedis Kouyoumdjian for the Piano Chamber Music. 2017 finished her study Magister's degree with high distinction.
She attended several master classes, getting significant praise from artists such a Anthony Spiri, France Clidat, Gyorgy Nador, Paul-Badura Skoda.
She won the second prize at the 5th Romanian International Music Competition in japan and the first prize at in section chamber music and contemporary music in Treviso International Competition “ Giovani Musicisti” Citta di Treviso in 2016.
She has been performing as a solist with the Cracow Chamber Music Orchestra and the Kagoshima Mozart Chamber Music Orchestra in Kagoshima, Japan, as a chamber music concert pianist in Institut français “festival der französischen musik” in Vienna, in Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris “Hommage au compositor Akira Ifukube” in Paris, Schubert Geburtshaus “Junge Talente” in Vienna, and vocal and instruments accompaniment pianist at numerous concerts.
